Option to slice without G-Code generation for quicker preview

If the slicing status progress bar labels in Prusaslicer are accurate, G-code generation seems to make up about half of the slicing time, which can get quite long with large prints / many parts on the bed. The slicer preview however seems to update much quicker, long before the progress bar is done. The G-code generation is still ongoing causing lag and stuttering and making it hard to go back to the plater to make any required adjustments that may of been noticed immediately from the slicer preview. If possible, it would be great to have the option to slice without the G-code generation for previewing the slicing result, making any required changes, repeat this again however many times nessessary, then when happy, actually generating the G-code. The workflow would be much faster overall when slicing a new project. This could be an option to be enabled (not default).
