Prusa Connect Material Ecosystem

Prusa Connect now includes a complete material ecosystem that helps you manage filaments across all your printers. Material database: a built-in material database with predefined materials and their properties. Material per printer tool: assign a specific material to each printer tool, so every toolhead knows exactly what it is loaded with. Favorite materials: mark the materials you use most as favorites for quicker access. Spool management: keep track of your spools, including what is loaded where and what is in stock. Custom materials: create your own materials with custom settings when the database does not cover your needs. Material consumption tracking: monitor how much material your prints use over time. Consumption is also tracked per spool, and if both your printer and spool support NFC, the remaining amount is written directly to the spool’s NFC tag. Note: For the best experience with the material ecosystem, we recommend printer firmware version 8.x or later.
